Video: Glen Cove Students Hit All Notes at MPAPA Fundraiser
The Music & Performing Arts Parents' Association held a fundraiser Friday to help raise money for scholarship programs.
The Musical & Performing Arts Parents' Association held a fundraiser at on Friday night to help raise money for scholarships and to support special programs for the music and performing arts students.
Students from the Select Chorale and Jazz Band, directed by Ed Norris and Jim Reardon, respectively, performed along with several solo singers from the high school.
MPAPA President Diane Bruschini said the event was a huge success.

"The turnout tonight was tremendous, and I have to thank Mr. Norris and Mr. Reardon for their hard work and dedication. Also, Jeanine DiMenna who made all of this possible at Page One. She is the best."
Select Chorale will be competing at a festival in Virginia Beach next week, and the Wind Ensemble is headed to Birdland Jazz Festival followed by a trip to see Chicago.
