Welcome to our feature, Whiz Kids, which will highlight the accomplishments of young people in Glen Cove. This week's Whiz Kid has recently starred in the Adelphi Dance Department The Who's Tommy: A Rock Ballet.
Name: Nicholas Scarmato, age 11

About Nicholas: He was featured as young Tommy in the New York exclusive premier of The Who’s Tommy: A Rock Ballet at Adelphi University from April 14-17. He also sang for a CocaCola commercial and performed at this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Key to Awesomeness: "I’m not that cocky to call myself awesome; but my key is my talent. It’s gotten me far. This past year I sang for a CocaCola commercial as well as performed at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. I also got to sing at Jazz at Lincoln Center and perform in an off-Broadway Musical. I’m working my way up and it’s going pretty well," Nicholas said.
