Big Red Hosts First Track Invitational

Glen Cove High School hosted its first Track Invitational on April 17, which included participants from 18 schools in the area.

The meet featured sprints, hurdles, relay and shot put, among other track and field competitions. 

Dr. Scott Silverman, the district's athletic director, along with members of the district's administration, Booster Club and track team, organized the event. 

Big Red's Harrison Gilbert finished second in the 100 meter sprint/hurdle competition and Daniel Belfiore came in third in the shot put event.
