Big Red Tennis Squad Falls to Falcons
Glen Cove loses season opener to Valley Stream South, 6-1.
Glen Cove High School's tennis team started the 2010 season on a rocky note yesterday. The team loss its season opener, 6-1, to Valley Stream South High School.
Big Red's Willie Wheeler and Matt Bellomo loss two second doubles, 6-2 and 6-3, respectively, against South's Preashant Panchal and Patrick Kim.
The team will play H. Frank Carey High School at home tomorrow at 4:15 p.m.
