City Mets Fans Celebrate Opening Day

Glen Cove residents join fellow baseball fans at Citi Field to watch home opener.

Glen Cove residents were among the many fans who came out to Citi Field in Queens on Monday to watch the Mets home opener against the Florida Marlins.

And they did not leave disappointed.

The Mets won 7-1, continuing their run as the MLB team with the best record for winning season openers. The team's record is 32-17.
