2.  Where/When: A Peace To Wholeness, 394 Forest Ave., Locust Valley, Thursday at 6 p.m. Why Go: Bring your children ages 6-12 to experience an ancient form of dancing and exercise. Pricing: $20 per person.

3.   Where/When: , 50 Glen St., Friday at 9:30 a.m. Why Go: Get into shape and try out a free pilates class during the month of September. Pricing: Free.

4. Where/When: 1899 Hempstead Tpke, East Meadow, Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Why Go: Enjoy and walk and raise money to help break the silence on ovarian cancer. Pricing: Until 9/20 - Adult $25; Child 12 & over $20.

5.  Where/When: 899 Hempstead Tpke, East Meadow, Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Why Go: Walk to Defeat ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) and enjoy face painting, live music, mascots refreshments and more. Also, meet guest stars and get an autograph signed by sports celebrities. Pricing: Free.

6.  Where/When: 1 Museum Dr, Roslyn, Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Why Go: Bring your entire family for a docent-led family walk-through of the exhibition and supervised art activities for everyone. Pricing: Free.
