Patch's guide to planning your weekend.

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check our picks for the activities to hit and great places to explore.

1. – Where/When: 1 Museum Dr, Roslyn, Friday at 12 p.m. Why Go: Visit the Nassau County Museum of Art and check out screens of six films including Blow-Up, Rear Window, Unzipped, The September Issue, Richard Avedon: Darkness and Light, and Funny Face. Pricing: Free with museum admission (Funny Face, no admission, $20/car parking fee).

2. – Where/When: , Friday at 11 a.m. Why Go:  Bring your children ages 18 months to three years old for a fun-filled class where they will dance, march and play. Pricing: Free event.

3. – Where/When: 720 Northern Blvd, Greenvale, Saturday at 10 a.m. Why Go: Get out and enjoy the weather while walking for a good cause. Support the Don Monti Memorial Research Foundation and help fight cancer. Pricing: Registration is $25 for adults, $10 for teenagers, and is free for children under 12.

4.Where/When: 21 Continental Pl, Glen Cove, Saturday at 7 p.m. Why Go: Join other seniors and enjoy delicious free pasta from 7-9 p.m.  Not a senior? No worries, you can still join the party for only $5.  Refreshments will also be served. Pricing: Free.

5. – Where/When: , Saturday at 2 p.m. Why Go: Come and watch the exciting 2009 movie everyone is talking about: Avatar. Pricing: Free.
