Jay Hernandez, founder of local basketball training program Pro Hoops, Inc., has been around basketball most of his life. Having been a standout playing for the University of New Hampshire and Hofstra, and having played in Puerto Rico for 3 years, Hernandez said he knows what being an athlete at an elite level requires.
