Glen Cove junior Kim Marte's hot streak was too much for Garden City to handle yesterday.
Marte batted four for five with two home runs against the Trojans to lead Big Red to a 14-2 victory. Freshman Kayla Morrissey also went one for four with a triple play.
The team is now 3-1 in both conference and overall play.
