Preview: Glen Cove Boys Basketball to Face Valley Stream South

Big Red still searching for a win.

Glen Cove @ Floral Park, Thursday, Feb. 8, 2011 – 6 p.m.

After a 73-40 loss to Floral Park, the Glen Cove boys basketball are just looking for a win to start the February. In the loss on Thursday, Floral Park’s Justin Wilson had 17 points, Shamoy McIntosh had 15 points and seven assists and Pete Alloca had 12 points and 10 rebounds. Big Red’s Frankie Mickens had 9 points. Yadiyah Letellier and Chris Theodoreau chipped in with 8 point in the loss.

Valley Stream South is also coming off of a loss against Floral Park on Friday. They were defeated 73-50. Valley Stream guard Shamoy McIntosh scored 16 point and is now a member of the 1,000 point club. Peter Alloca added 26 points for Floral Park. Valley Stream South’s Jason Jones added 15 points and Henoc Bienne added 12 points in the loss.
