With rain expected, the City of Glen Cove has revised some of the weekend's activities.
Here's what you need to know:
- Thursday, July 3 at 7:30 p.m. the Downtown Sounds will continue as planned, rain or shine.
- Friday, July 4, some Independence Day activities will be rescheduled to the following day, Saturday, July 5.
- The activity that will remain on Friday, July 4t, is the Northwinds Symphonic Band concert at 7:45 p.m. in St. Patrick’s Parish Hall.
- The schedule for Saturday is as follows: At 10 a.m. the bicycle parade will begin at Finley Middle School. The fireworks display will occur at 9:15 p.m. at Morgan Memorial Park.
- On Sunday, July 6, the Morgan Park Summer Music Festival will kick off at 7:30 p.m. featuring Celestial Swing, a swing time big band.
- Sanitation pick up normally scheduled for Friday pick up will take place on Saturday, July 5.
