Statement from Tom Suozzi regarding tonight's 2014 Nassau County budget vote:

"NIFA and even his own comptroller have warned Ed Mangano that basing his budget on billions in borrowing is a recipe for fiscal disaster. It is a shame; especially for Nassau residents, that instead of heeding their advice, Mangano has once again given us a bogus budget that relies too heavily on billions in excessive, irresponsible borrowing. He has no concern about the future of our county."
