Thomas R. Suozzi, a Glen Cove native, served two terms as county executive of Nassau County, NY. He was first elected to the post in 2001, the first Democratic county executive since 1971.

Message from Tom: "I am proud of my record of having turned Nassau County around, and I’m driven to work even harder to implement smart and innovative solutions to issues we now confront. But, more important, I have a vision of our county’s future that will not try and frighten you about the loss of our past, but excite you about the opportunities for our future. We must work to make Nassau the best county in the country. A county for your children and mine to call home. Let’s do it together."
