Glen Animal Lover's League Holds Holiday Gala

The League, along with Yorkie 911 Rescue, celebrated the season at PETCO.

Yorkie 911 Rescue held a holiday gala at  on Saturday, Dec. 18 and invited shoppers gave shoppers to bring down their own pets and meet some of the rescued animals. 

While some of the animals had been abused, neglected, and/or abandoned, volunteers from the League and Yorkie 911 said that the animals are loving and will make for great pets.

"These are animals who need loving homes, and they add so much life to the homes who adopt them," said Jane, a volunteer with the Animal Lovers League.  "It's great to adopt two cats at a time also. These animals give unconditional love."
