Long Island Water Holding Thanksgiving Food Drive in Sea Cliff

Canned and non-perishable items accepted until Nov. 22.

Long Island Water is sponsoring a food drive that will help Long Island Cares feed the hungry in local communities.

They have a collection box for canned or non-perishable food items at 325 Prospect Ave in Sea Cliff as well as the following locations:

  • Lynbrook Office Building at 733 Sunrise Highway, Lynbrook, NY
  • Merrick Office Building at 60 Brooklyn Ave., Merrick, NY
All donations must be made by Nov. 22.

“We hope those members of our community who can, will join our employees in filling these such that we will need more boxes," said Vice President of Operations Brian Bruce. 

Long Island Cares was founded in 1980 by the late singer and songwriter, Harry Chapin, and provides food and support services for over 580 food pantries, soup kitchens, disability organizations, veteran’s services and much more.  Visit their website for more information at www.licares.org
