From a live-animal presentation, to children's theater to Easter egg hunts, there are plenty of fun-filled activities to enjoy on Long Island This weekend. Here are some picks.

Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, 9:15-11:15 a.m. Take the kids to an Easter Egg hunt and breakfast at Pump It Up in Great Neck. April Fool's Hike at Sagamore Hill National Historic Site

Saturday, 11 a.m. Join naturalist Lois Lindberg for some light-hearted fun on an irreverent tour of the grounds and nature trails. The walk may not be on April 1, but get ready to be fooled. The nature walk will meet behind the park Visitor Center. It is free of charge and will last approximately 90 minutes. Dress for the weather. Learn more.

The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley

Saturday,  11 a.m., Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Based on the popular children's books by Jeff Brown, the musical features fun travels across the planet.  John W. Engeman Theater,  250 Main Street, Northport. $15. Learn more.  

Spring Spectacular at White Post Farms

Saturday, Sunday. Take a photo of the Easter Bunny, enjoy Easter Crafts and Bunny Holdings in a heated area. 250 Old Country Road, Melville. Learn more.  

Birds of Prey at Sands Point Preserve 

Sunday, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Visit the Sands Point Preserve and learn about the birds of prey – also called raptors – including hawks, ospreys, and owls in a live animal presentation.  $10 per car / free with Annual Pass. The Teacher from The Black Lagoon and Other Storybooks
