Here are some activities to enjoy this weekend. 

Saturday

• Cleanup the shoreline of the Target Rock National Wildlife Refuge with the Huntington-Oyster Bay Audubon Society and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Snacks and water will be provided for the volunteers. 9 a.m. 12 Target Rock Rd, Lloyd Harbor.

• New exhibits open Saturday at the Nassau County Museum of Art. “Alex Katz:  Selections from the Whitney Museum of American Art” in the Main Galleries. And “AftermodernisM AM,” featuring artists Nina Chanel Abney, Justin Craun, Wendell Gladstone, Erik Parker and Tom Sanford, in the Second Floor Galleries. Through October 13. • Enjoy a butterfly walk at Caumsett State Park. 25 Lloyd Harbor Rd, Lloyd Harbor, 10 a.m.

• Learn all about owls by attending "Afternoon With an Owl." Get details on pricing and registration. Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary, 134 Cove Road, Oyster Bay. 1:30 p.m.

• Cookie decorating, tie dying, and hula hoops at Justin’s Toys of Glen Cove. Free 114 Forest Ave, Glen Cove. 12 p.m.
