One of two new twin ambulances placed into service in October of 2010. The new unit 5282 is a Medtec Type III Ford E-450 ambulance and replaced the old 5282 which went into service in 1998. Many new features make this ambulance more comfortable for patients and allow the emergency medical technicians to work more efficiently. The ambulance has state of the art medical and communications equipment in addition to low-power draw LED lighting. The ambulance has new safety features such as reflective chevrons and blue lighting in the rear.

5281 is a 2004 Ford E350 Advanced-Life Support ambulance.

5284 is a Ford E350 van-style ambulance placed into service in December of 2010. This is a fully certified ambulance by the NYS Dept of Health. Due to its smaller size and mobility this unit is used during standbys and special events since it can easily fit down narrow crowded streets and limited access areas.

5298 is a 2004 Chevy Silverado used as first responder to carry emergency medical technicians, life saving equipment and medications to the scene of an incident.

5299 was put into service in the summer of 2009 and serves as both a first responder and Mass Casualty truck. In addition to carrying all of the lifesaving medical equipment used on a day-to-day basis, 5299 carries a complete inventory of equipment for use at a multiple casualty incident. It carries additional backboards, basic life support "jump bags", oxygen bags, an oxygen delivery manifold, and medical triage and staging equipment. 5299 also has state of the art communication equipment to allow responders to communicate with agencies throughout Nassau County. The truck is capable of towing Glen Cove EMS's MCI Trailer which houses additional equipment for use at multiple casualty incidents and special events for medical rehabilitation.

Purchased through a grant and private donation this John Deere gator is used for special operations and event standbys. Due to its small dimensions and its all-terrain capabilities this is an important piece of EMS equipment. The gator ATV can be utilized at a multitude of locations throughout the city including beaches, nature preserves, parking garages and any other area where the means to reach a sick or injured person is limited. The idea behind the gator is the gator will get EMTs and lifesaving medical equipment to a person faster which in turn will receive medical treatment faster. After the EMT crew on the gator assess the person and provides treatment the gator will then transport the sick or injured person to an awaiting ambulance.
