PTA Council Honors Laurent Caballero
Glen Cove parents and teachers recognize longtime volunteer while hosting annual Community Scholarship Fundraiser.
With more than 150 district parents, staff, family and distinguished guests in attendance, the Glen Cove Council of Parent Teacher Associations hosted its annual Community Scholarship Fundraiser on March 14 at the New York Institute of Technology's de Seversky Mansion of Old Westbury. Laurent Caballero, the district's kindergarten through second grade teacher's aide, was this year's honoree during the Sunday Brunch event. "Today we recognize a woman with deep devotion to her community," said Mayor Ralph Suozzi. "Laurent has committed her life to volunteering, serving the children and families of Glen Cove."
