Perhaps a bachelor's degree in journalism and master's degree in English literature, combined with an insatiable appetite to explore, developed into a lifelong career as a freelance feature writer for Tony Tedeschi.

His articles have run in more than 100 newspapers and dozens of magazines in the U.S. and abroad, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Baltimore Sun, Boston Globe, Christian Science Monitor, New Orleans Times-Picayune, Los Angeles Times and San Diego Union-Tribune. 

Tedeschi lives in Glen Cove with his wife Candy, a nurse practitioner in women's healthcare. They have raised three daughters and have four grandchildren.
