 Vincent Shields has lived in Glen Cove all his life and is a graduate<br>of Glen Cove High School, Class of 1992, where his love of video<br>production started. After high school, he attended NYIT, graduating<br>with a BA in Communications Arts.<br><br>Vincent comes to Patch.com with 16 years of experience in television<br>news; working at News 12 Long Island, WPIX-TV Ch 11, WNYW Fox 5,WWOR-TV Ch 9 and HDNews. A four-time NY Emmy Award Nominee, Vincent has also worked as director of photography for an award-winning documentary film.<br><br>Serving the community is very important to Vincent, who is a Member and Ex-Captain of the Glen Cove Fire Department Chemical Engine Co 1. He is looking forward to meeting you out and around Glen Cove.
