A Glen Cove woman faces grand larceny charges for taking New York State Lottery tickets without paying for them.

Nassau police say Donna King, 48, of 26 Clement Street, worked as a counterperson at the Super 7 Mini Mart at 242 Glen Cove Avenue in Glen Head. According to police, from February to May of 2013, King took various kinds of lottery scratch-off tickets worth nearly $64,000 without paying for them. After an investigation, detectives arrested King at her home on Tuesday at 12 a.m., without incident.

King was charged with second-degree grand larceny. She was scheduled for arraignment Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
