Remember potsy? How about stickball? Can you still Double Dutch?

On Sunday, May 15 Congregation Tifereth Israel (CTI) in Glen Cove rekindles these wonderful memories of growing up in New York City Brooklyn/Bronx Day.

Beginning at 10 a.m., bubbies (grandmothers) and zaidies (grandfathers) will demonstrate and teach a new generation of children the games they played growing up on the streets of New York. Expect to see plenty of Spalding balls, jacks, pick-up sticks and penny candies for all. There might even be an egg cream or two!

The event is free and open to the public. No reservations needed.
