Trip to Museum of American Jewish History

Motorcoach Trip to New Museum in Philadelphia, Guided Tours of Exhibitions

Congregation Tifereth Israel (CTI) invites the public to join in a daylong motorcoach tour to Philadelphia for a guided tour of The National Museum of American Jewish History, the new institution that’s drawing visitors from across the country. The tour fee of $68 ($65 for children 12 and under) includes deluxe transportation to and from Philadelphia from Glen Cove, museum admission, a docent-led tour of the exhibitions and a travel escort for the day.

The National Museum of American Jewish History—the first museum in the world to be devoted to the stories of Jews and Jewish communities in America, from colonial days to the present—seeks to connect Jews more closely to their American heritage and to inspire in people of all backgrounds a greater appreciation for the diversity of the American Jewish experience and the freedoms to which all Americans aspire. This new 100,000 square foot building in the heart of Philadelphia historic district has received wide acclaim since its opening less than two years ago.
