Video: Long Island Musicians Jam at Glen Cove Open Mic

Local singer/songwriters showcased their talents at Thursday night's weekly open mic at Page One Restaurant.

Glen Cove is quickly becoming the new hot spot for Long Island music.

Musicians have trekked to the Gold Coast City from as far as Riverhead – with their guitars and original lyrics – to showcase their talents at . 

Newcomers Christine Baker and Ernie Norris took the mic this week, while regulars Joe Perricone, Mark Virgilio, Suzanne Ernst, Michele Puckett, Matt Chernoff, and Anthony Capobianco returned to showcase their newest work.

Every Thursday night, the mic is open to anyone who is brave enough to take the spotlight. Signups begin at 7 p.m. and performers take the stage at 8 p.m.
