1. Children ages 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 are invited to Toddler Time at the Gold Coast Public Library, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
2. Media specialist Richard Knox presents a program looking at a variety of popular radio and television shows and hosts between 1935 and 1965. The event starts at 2 p.m. at the .
3. Its at the Gold Coast Public Library for girls ages 3 - 6. Stories, a tiara and wandcraft at no cost, plus a goody bag.
4. The Long Island Chess Nuts teach beginners how to play and help experienced players hone their strategies at the Glen Cove Public Library at 7 p.m., for grades 2 - 5.
5. The 's meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall.
