No. 75: Spend Night out Against Crime
Crime-stopping event returns to downtown Glen Cove Tuesday.
While the summer brings a wide array of events to Glen Cove, Tuesday night marks the one day a year where residents are officially invited to get better aquainted with local law enforcement in a block party-style fashion.
The Fifth Annual National Night Out Against Crime will be held outside of the from 6-9 p.m.
The night kicks off with live music, food, refreshments, and an introduction from the GCPD.

Glen Covers have the opportunity to meet and greet their local law enforcement, tour the department and even check out a taser gun demonstration.
Parents can have their children fingerprinted and photographed as well.
