DeRiggi-Whitton to Hold Fundraiser

Nassau Legislature candidate and Glen Cove Councilwoman Delia DeRiggi-Whitton is holding a fundraiser at Page One on Wednesday.

Nassau Legislature candidate and Glen Cove City Councilwoman Delia DeRiggi-Whitton will hold a at on Wednesday.

The life-long resident – and daughter of former Glen Cove Mayor Donald DeRiggi – to succeed incumbent Diane Yatauro, D-Glen Cove, on May 23 for 18th Nassau County Legislature District.

The event kicks off at 6:30 p.m. and voters will have the opportunity to speak with DeRiggi-Whitton on problems facing Nassau County and how she plans to approach them as legislator for the 18th district, according to Nassau Democratic Committee Communications Director Audrey Kubetin.
