Feb. 17: Varsity Basketball, Gospel Choir

Five things to know about or do today in Glen Cove.

  1. "A Time for Kids Cuckoo Bird" at the Glen Cove Public Library invites children ages 18 months to 3 years to come enjoy music and more, 10:30 a.m.
  2. Glen Cove weather report: early showers are expected to turn to sun by the afternoon, with a high of 49 degrees.
  3. Glen Cove High School's Big Red hosts Floral Park for a first-round playoff matchup at 6 p.m.
  4. Catch a game of Bingo at Glen Cove's Knights of Columbus, $4 and the game runs from 7:15 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  5. Check out the Soweto Gospel Choir at 8 p.m. at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts.
