High schoolers donned colors in support of their elementary alma maters at Glen Cove High School on March 23 - red for Deasy and Landing Elementary Schools and green for Gribbin and Connolly Elementary Schools.
The Red Team won for its second consecutive year, earning the right to play a team of district staff members in volleyball. That game went to the faculty.
Proceeds from the gate went to the Glen Cove Community Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to deserving seniors graduating in the class of 2012, the district said.
